Pangasinan Transportation Company(PANTRANCO). "Ang Pasahero mo ay amo" The first bus company in Pangasinan since 1917. Why this bus company became rich & famous? PANTRANCO became rich & famous few years later after it was established. During their classic era around 40s through 60s. PANTRANCO ordered luxury, Deluxe, Aircon & Ordinary American coaches such as International Harvester(This kind of bus unit looks like an old School bus) & other American buses. As same as Victory Liner & Philippine Rabbit as their rival in the 50s. In the 1960s PANTRANCO built more Bus Terminals in Cubao, & other terminals in Provincial areas. They made more routes so that people will reach to their nearest bus terminal and they ordered many buses as they can unless they had millions of money. In the 1980s, Pantranco ordered Original German buses specifically MAN: The 16.290, 18.290 etc. and sadly few years later that they were bankrupted & they strike & then closed in 1993. 76 Years of Service. This bus company also was so rich & it was owned by former President Ferdinand Marcos during their time & then when he resigned as President in 1986 when Pres. Cory Aquino replaced. Pantranco neglected their finances & they owe Php 25,000,000 to pay & few years later that still that they didn't owe, They might bankrupt & closed. R.I.P Pantranco
